Life Was Out of Control!

I can't believe that it has almost been over three months since I have posted. Life was so busy these last couple of months. I have come to realize that I need to just take some time out for myself and reflex on the blessings God has given me. I have noticed that I have worried about getting my business off the ground that I haven't taken time out for myself, my family or to just to sit and reflex and spend time with God.

I have realized that just some of the verses that I have came across in these last couple of weeks tells me that the Lord has plans for my life. Has Jeremiah 29:11 states..."For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (NIV). I need to rely on God for not only the relaxing time but ALL times including my life.

Today, I went to breakfast with my mom and dad. When then went grocery shopping, got home just in time to put the frozen food away before I had to rush out the door for a meeting with one of my team members. Got home just in time to leave and go to Target with my mom, back home relaxed for a couple of hours before starting dinner. Now I am relaxing before I go to bed to start my day all over again tomorrow. I have noticed that I am more relaxed just sitting here typing and writing down my feelings and how my day went.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Life's Roller Coaster Ride

I have felt like I have been on a roller coaster ride for the past month. I like roller coaster but the ones where my life is involved not so sure yet still debating. I have started Avon and I really enjoy it and I have my team growing weekly which I am happy about. I have to say that it is all the Lord though that is providing because I know it isn't all me.
Some of you know that I had been out of work since last July and I had been looking since then, we had been praying for God to provide me with a job. Well, in December I had an interview for a coordinator position in helping people find jobs, etc. I didn't get the job, but I knew that is what I wanted to do is help people. I asked our Pastor to pray that God would provide a job where I can help people find a job, be able to train them and where if need be I could share with them about God, that was in December.
At the beginning of March I had my friend which is the District Manager for Avon call me and tell me about the things that were changing in Avon and to just come to the meeting they were having and listen. So I told her I would but I wasn't sure if I would do it since I had an interview and I was one of the top four. I didn't get the job that I had interview so I told my District Manager that I was interested what was I suppose to do. I signed up and I am now a Unit Leader and I am a Training Leader which is the one reason why I signed up. God had answered my prayers because not only can I help people get a job but I am in a position where I provide the training too. I also can share with them the love of God.
I am so thankful for what God is doing in my life right now. He has shown me a lot in my life in these past couple of years where if I depend on Him he will provide ALL my needs. I hope your day is a beautiful and fun filled one.

If anyone would like to place an Avon order you can do so and have it shipped directly to you. Check it out. www.youravon.com/tmradin.

Life is Good and Such a Blessing!

Sorry it has been awhile since I have posted been very busy. Started selling Avon and I am doing pretty good. But I have to say it is because of the Lord providing the people to sell to and for the people that signed up to sell. Already have started partnering with people (have my down line). I am so excited to be able to help people start their business and be able to help train them into getting it off the ground. I even signed up my oldest daughter to sell since she still wasn't able to find work. If you would like to order Avon check out my site... www.youravon.com/tmradin

All the kids are doing good even though my oldest is going through her divorce she is getting through it one day at a time with the Lord's help. My youngest daughter is doing good, she has decided to wait till May to leave for school. My school is playing baseball for high school and they are doing good.

Have a busy day tomorrow, trying to get ready for the Ladies Purse Auction along with a Taco bar we are having for our church. Looking forward how it comes out. It is going to be a lot of fun. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

My beginning Journey!

Sorry it has been awhile since I have last posted, been a busy week. I didn’t hear back from the job that I interviewed last week, and I had been praying for God direction on if he wanted me to sell Avon. At first I didn’t want to even think about it because I knew I would have to do my own taxes, etc. But last Sunday when my Pastor and his wife prayed for me and asked God to give me his peace if this was the thing to do. Going forward from that time I had a peace and I had excitement that it was so unbelievable. It was like WOW I can do this because God will be walking along side me and guiding me. I was looking at everything that I am doing in my life right now that God has put in my life to do. I am the Women’s Coordinator for our Women’s Ministry and I also am a volunteer for The Compassionate Friends where I am the Newsletter Editor and I will be starting the Treasurer too. God showed me since I haven’t been working that the Avon can be my full time job and I can also minister to people. This time around I will be trained right, since the first time I wasn’t trained correctly like someone should be. I know that I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I know that God is right with me and that I know that He will be helping me. The funny thing about this is the feeling I am feeling it is like Christmas morning when you are so excited what is in that gift you were given. I am looking forward to this walk in my life that God has in store for me, because I know that His GLORY will be shining brightly and I will be giving him all the praise.
So if anyone that would like to buy Avon or even hear more about it; please contact me and I will be happy to talk to you. May God be your portion and may his light shine brightly in you and through you.

Running the Race to the Finish Line

This last week I have been going through being happy, then being down. Sometimes I wish that I didn’t have these emotions like this so much. Friday night we had our Bunco night for the Ladies at our church. We had a lot of fun celebrating our Pastor’s wife birthday and fellowshipping, even though we all decided not to play Bunco after all. LOL It was a beautiful day on Saturday which my son had his baseball game for the JV for school and they won 5-3 he got hit by the ball twice. I went to a job interview last week and won’t know anything until this week. The lady said that once they get it down and if I am in those last few people then I will get a call to come back for a 2nd interview and for a Microsoft testing. She called me back the next day and asked me to come in today for the test. Took the test think I did okay on some of it, the Excel part I did okay except there was a part I couldn’t remember so we will see by the end of the week. Hoping this is the job, but like I have said it is what God wants, because He is the one in control of my life.
I watched the video of Derek Redmond running a race and as he was running he torn his hamstring, his dad appeared from the stands breaking through security to help him. His dad told him he didn’t have to do this Derek told him “I do” because he didn’t want to give up. I have come to realize that this is what Jesus is doing as we walk or run in our daily lives. Jesus is right there beside us, helping us along in our race that we are running. God has set a course for us that we need to finish, but are we up to the challenge?
As 2 Timothy 4:7 states: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. So let us keep the faith and fight the good fight so we can finish this race. Also Hebrews 12:1 states: Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. I am going to keep my faith; I am going to ask Jesus to help me run this race. So I AM determined to run and finish this race that God has set out for me. So who wants to join me in this race?

Busy Past Week

It sure has been awhile since I have posted it seemed like life was slipping away with being so busy. Last week was good one my son had a baseball game so glad the weather was nice. I went on a walk yesterday with my oldest daughter and one of my friends from the support group that I volunteer with...The Compassionate Friends (support group for families after a child dies). It was really nice out for it, but I realized when I got up this morning and throughout the day that my legs are hurting me. When I got up this morning my brother called to inform me that one of our Uncles died, not sure from what yet. Hope everyone had a great week.

Another Day

I am sitting here pondering on things in the past that have happen and think about the things that are happening now are similar but in a different way. For instance when you lose a baby you think it is the end of the world and you can’t go on and make it. Let me say I felt that way when I lost my son Anthony from Potter’s Syndrome (having no kidneys) when he was twenty-two minutes old. I sit here and realize I got through the hard part even though I didn’t know how. Yes, I miss him but know that it is a day to day process of healing. At the time I knew God but wasn’t walking with him in my life, but I know that God is the one who got me through because he knew I would come back to him in time. Now I am facing a similar situation, but it’s not losing a child it is losing a job and having to face where is the money coming from. We are living on my husband’s pay but I know that God is the one providing for us; and I am thankful for that.
I am keeping myself busy by looking for work and reading books which I haven’t really sat down and read this many books in a long time. I have read three books in the past week and now reading another. A couple of the books are about the Daughters of Lancaster County which are Amish families relying on God, very good books. I am also reading grief books which help in so many ways. Some tell you what to say and do and what not to say and do when people are facing grief from losing a love one. I am reading one now called The Grief Club written by Melody Beattie so far it is very good. This book is about healing through life’s losses (whatever that loss may be i.e. Death, divorce, drug addiction, etc.). I am reading these books to help me support others through their grief; God has touched my heart and is using me to touch others and let His light shine through me. I am a volunteer for The Compassionate Friends which is a group for supporting a family after a child dies. This group is for parents, grandparents, and siblings. Since I have a lost a child I know what these people are going through even though each situation is different. One of my jobs is Newsletter Editor, which I put together the Newsletter for our group. I give God the glory for guiding me to Susan my friend who is the Leader of The Compassionate Friends Chapter in our area.
Well, on to another day tomorrow. May the Lord Jesus be with you and your family, and may His peace be surrounding you.
